June 2, 2013 – Tobie Wan is gone to her forever home today.
May 19, 2013 – Tobie Wan is an early riser and eager to begin every new day, she is blossoming in her foster home and thoroughly enjoys the company of her resident pug brother. We have noticed that Tobie seems to do well around all dogs and is best suited in a forever home with another four-legged friend to keep her company. Always excited to put her harness on and head out for her walks, Tobie Wan is currently accustomed to being walked three times daily. Like many pugs, Tobie is more than content to curl up on your lap or nearby for a cuddle and rest and takes the greatest pleasure in having her siestas basking in the sun. Please submit an application to offer Tobie Wan her perfect forever home.
May 8, 2013 – Tobie Wan had her stitches removed yesterday and she had a great recovery. She had a good time at Brewer Park Farmers Market this past Sunday and let lots of people. Tobie Wan really enjoys being with other dogs and she loves her walks. If you are interested in adopting Tobie Wan, please submit your adoption application form. Ideally, we would like Tobie Wan to go to a home with a backyard and a 4 legged companion.
April 22, 2013 – Tobie Wan is doing so well, she doesn’t seem to be in any pain or discomfort after her spaying surgery. We are still trying to keep her as quiet as possible. She really loves to be around people. As soon as we walk in the house, she is at the door greeting us and doing 360s in excitement
April 18, 2013 – Tobie Wan was spayed today. She weights 20.2lbs. The surgery went very well and she will be ready to go back to her foster family later today. Tobie is on the left of this picture. If you are interested in adopting Tobie Wan, please submit your adoption application form.
April 12, 2913 – Tobie has adapted to life with another pug and spent her first evening and day cuddled up and sleeping with her new friend. More interested in her favorite pastime cuddling, rather than playing, Tobie is overjoyed to curl up on the couch with you and keep you warm. Tobie is an energetic and strong girl who will need an active forever home with structure. She walks very well on a leash and is very polite during meal times. Tobie is set to be spayed next Friday and will soon be ready for adoption. Stay tuned for more Tobie news.
April 10, 2013 – Tobie came in this evening. Rescued from a high kill shelter in Quebec and set to be euthanized this Friday, Tobie has adapted quickly to her new life beyond bars. She is happy-go-lucky and already playing, being friendly with the resident dogs and performing like a typical pug (sleeping). Tobie is beautiful and she was an angel in the car during her transport from Montreal to Ottawa. Tobie is about 20lbs and she has the softest coat and velvety ears. Stay tuned for more on Tobie in the coming days.
Age: 10 months old
April 18, 2013 – Ernie is going to his forever home tonite.
April 10, 2013 – Ernie is quite the little charmer, as you can see from that gorgeous face. Ernie has fundamental knowledge of commands, is fully housetrained and is a magnificent walking companion. Ernie pulls when crossing paths with another dog or a human, very eager to greet them; yet with a quick leash correction, he is learning to stay on track. Since Ernie is a young pug, he will surely benefit from an active family and is suited to a family with or without pets, as he appears to be pleased to meet and play with all. Ernie’s forever home should also remain committed to the time and effort required to fulfill his training needs. If you are devoted to adoring this little chap, please submit your application form.
April 7, 2013 – Ernie came in today. He is an owner surrender. He was very much loved but some family situation made him come to rescue. Ernie is born on June 17, 2012. He is neutered and up to date in his vaccination. Stay tuned for more info on Ernie in the coming days. Ernie will soon be available for adoption.

April 19, 2013 – Moe is going to his forever home this Sunday…he will live a happy life with 5 very nice kids.
April 9, 2013 – Moe was quite the gentleman at this past weekend’s Adoption Day and was eager to see and meet so many new faces. Moe’s skin is clearing nicely and his forever home will want to keep him on a higher end food and treats. Moe has the most handsome face and is eager to find a home that will love and spoil him. Moe will need to be taught some manners on a leash and is curious, often pulling towards people and/or others to investigate. Moe’s training is still moving along with positive results and we will be sure to pass on all of the secrets to his forever home. Can you give Moe his forever home? Please submit your application form today.
April 2, 2013 – Moe is doing wonderful and is really coming out of his shell; surprising us every day with something new that he does. Moe is the best greeter when you come home from work, jumping up and down and doing circles of excitement. Moe is receiving some training as he goes through an unwanted ‘mounting’ stage in his life. This training is going well with Moe as he is incredibly intelligent and has since grasped that we are the boss. With rules and boundaries he’s adjusting to his new environment each day. He will occasionally try to mount the resident female pug, but with a correction right away, he now stops. Moe would best be suited in a forever home with a confident leader.
March 22, 2013 – Moe has returned from the vet a new man! Moe is recovering well from his neutering surgery and immediately had the bounce back in his step. The vet also assessed Moe’s right rear leg as he appeared to be skipping steps. It seems that at some point in Moe’s not so great past, a fracture occurred and no veterinary care was ever sought. Moe’s leg has healed without treatment and because of built up scar tissue, he is physically unable to completely straighten this leg. Moe has adapted to this and it causes him no pain, nor is there any way to correct it. Moe is not limited from walking, running, playing, etc. because of this and remains as active as any other pug his age. The vet has recommended that Moe continue to be as active as possible as this can only help his condition. Moe is 14.8lbs. Moe continues to play well and has taken a shining to the resident cat, often seen wrestling and cahorting.
March 19, 2013 – Moe is doing wonderful since coming into the rescue and is adapting very well in his foster home, happy to be paired with the resident female pug. A little skittish to noises and the unknown, Moe spooks easily but is adjusting amazingly to his new environment. Moe will visit the vet this coming Thursday for his neutering surgery and we will have his skin looked at as well, as it seems that he may have some food allergies. Since we have switched him onto agrain-free formula and with the addition of herring oil, we will be keeping an eye on his skin for improvements over the next couple of weeks. Moe is quite at home curling up to his humans and is quite interested in play fighting with even the resident cat! Stay tuned to learn more as Moe visits the vet and we learn about his personality.
March 17, 2013 – Moe has come into the rescue this afternoon as an owner surrender. Moe is quite active and gets along well with other dogs. He is 3 years old. He was bought 4 months ago online and the people didn’t realize that a dog needs to go out and get fed. Moe will soon visit the vet to be neutered and have a full checkup. Moe will be fostered with a female pug, so stay tuned to learn how he adapting to his new life.

May 18, 2013 – Nina is gone to her forever home where she is already being adored. Nina will be sharing her life with a beautiful 13 year old pug and 2 human angels. Congrats to D & D for their new addition and for opening their heart to this beautiful little girl.
May 16, 2013 – With her discovery of grass and warm weather, Nina is having a blast outside! She loves to wander around the backyard and will even let you chase her around. Although limited in her vision, Nina loves to play with her foster parents and enjoys a good wrestle or grab-the-face game. All who have followed Nina’s story are amazed at the recovery she has made and it shows that this little girl is around to stay. Nina is holding her weight steady and like most pugs, loves to eat! She has become accustomed to her twice daily needles and nothing is slowing her down. Nina will sleep wherever you would like her to and will stay put for the evening. She gets along with both her female and male pug companions, but is not afraid to snarl back when pushed around. If you are looking for the love of your life, I may know where you can find her. Please submit your application form today.
April 27, 2013 – Nina’s perseverance continues to amaze us day after day, and it is marvellous to see her shine. Nina continues to add meat on her bones and develops still more and more strength each day. Nina has mastered going up stairs now and it shouldn’t be long before she learns to go down as well. With this warmer weather, Nina thoroughly enjoys walking around the backyard and taking in all the new smells. Nina loves to be with you and is always curious as to what you are up to; she makes a wonderful companion and could listen to you talk for hours. There is no better cuddler or companion for any family or person.
April 13, 2013 – Nina is back from her vet visit, with a lot less teeth – she lost 13 and was missing many, leaving her with only 4 teeth! Luckily she is learning, from her also toothless and blind resident brother, how to continue to eat like a pig with a lack of dental work. Nina weighed in at 12.5 pounds and could still stand to gain a bit of weight. She is a feisty little girl who still loves a wrestle, hates having her ear and wrinkles cleaned, and will race any other resident pug in a ‘fastest eater’ contest. Nina’s bloodwork has come back and her glucose levels are perfect! She is one healthy Nina now and her forever home will easily maintain her levels with her twice daily insulin shots.
April 10, 2013 – Nina has positively made a full recovery and it should be smooth sailing for this ‘little girl’. She has improved significantly with her housetraining, as long as she is put outside often as this is something that she never learned. Nina’s forever home should limit her to one level, as she is not capable of stairs and cannot see them, often before it is too late. Nina does need to be carried to certain areas of the home and into the yard, which is easy, as she is so light and she loves to be taken in your arms. Nina sleeps through the night with no issues and is happy to be laid upon the couch like a princess for her naps or if lucky, in a human bed! She continues to have a voracious appetite and is more than happy to wolf down rewards for a job well done. Nina is great on a leash, but you better not be in a hurry to get somewhere as she is a little slow but is a trooper during her short 15 minute beginner walks. If you are looking for a never ending wagging tail of happiness upon hearing your voice, please consider giving this wonderful soul her forever home.
April 8, 2013 – Nina did very well at the Adoption Day this past Saturday. People can’t believe how good she now looks. Nina is getting her teeth cleaned this Friday. Nina has gained almost 3lbs since she came to us.
April 2, 2013 – Nina is becoming stronger and stronger with each passing day and it definitely helps that she eats like a full grown horse! Nina has become accustomed to her twice daily needles and the cost to her adoptive family for insulin is closer to only $10 a month, which is peanuts when you see the amazing difference it has made in her life. Nina is still getting used to using the outside as a washroom, but has come a long way. The excitement on Nina’s face and in her body is so apparent when it is close to feeding, cuddle, or play time and especially when you come home. As Nina gains strength, she will have her teeth cleaned at the vet and soon be ready for adoption – keep an eye out!
March 22, 2013 – Wow – what a difference a couple of days makes! With some much needed veterinary care, devotion and love, Nina is on the right path. This fighting spirit is on her way to recovery and it is a wonderful sight to see that tail wagging all the time, so delighted to be surrounded by those who care for her. Nina’s required dose of twice daily needles of insulin are actually very easy to give and would run her future forever home approximately $50 per month, for the rest of her life. Nina’s forever home must remain committed to caring for Nina’s health. Nina gets along very well with all other dogs that she has met and she has much more spunk than you would figure; pleased to tell anyone too close to her food to get lost with the cutest, tiniest, little grrr. Nina’s vision is definitely limited, however, she knows her new name and will follow you as you speak to her. She loves to cuddle up with the resident male pug, is polite with the resident female pug, and loves to lick her foster mom’s arms. Nina will return to the vet in approximately three weeks for a checkup to ensure she remains on the path of recovery; stay tuned!
March 17, 2013 – Nina has returned from her stay at the vet and is back in the saddle. Nina received some much needed fluids through IV during her stay and has come home with much more energy and strength. Due to Nina’s diabetes, she will receive two shots of insulin a day and her forever home will need to continue with this treatment – which turns out is actually quite easy to administer. To no fault of her own, Nina has not learned to use outdoors as her washroom and we are teaching this nine year old many new things. Nina slept wonderfully through her first night back to her foster home, with no accidents – happy to curl up in her bed or with the resident pugs. Nina is on a special diabetic diet which will also help her gain some much needed weight onto her tiny frame. Although not loved enough in her previous life, Nina is adapting well to constant cuddles and reassurances – wagging her tail with content. Stay tuned for more developments on Nina, as she adapts to her new healthy life.
March 14, 2013 – Nina has had a full blood workup done at the vet this morning and it is by sheer determination alone that this amazing little girl is still with us and we are grateful that we have been able to rescue her. Nina has been fighting a horrendous infection without any care or medication for an undetermined amount of time, leaving her extremely uncomfortable. Nina has also been left untreated with advanced diabetes and is extremely dehydrated. Nina is tremendously underweight at 10.2lbs and is also most likely fighting a bladder infection along with everything else. Nina has been immediately placed on antibiotics and will begin insulin shots tomorrow. Nina will stay at the vet on IV fluids until Saturday where she will be monitored closely. Good news from the vet states that she could get through this and we got her in the nick of time. This frail soul is fighting for her life and we are behind her every step of the way! Stay tuned as we learn about Nina’s recovery and introduction to her new pain-free life while she is surrounded only by those who will love and care for her. Nina is a very sweet pug who loves to be cuddled and needs only someone’s love and affection.
March 13, 2013 – We must have sensed something when we chose a name for this ‘little girl’, as Nina is the direct translation. Nina has come into us tonite a frail and weak tiny girl. Nina has had one eye surgically removed in the past and has limited vision in her remaining eye. We will be taking Nina to the vet first thing tomorrow morning for a full checkup. Nina is clearly shaken and we will be keeping a close eye on her over the next few days to ensure that she adjusts to the many positive changes in her new life. Please keep an eye on Nina’s story.

Lin Lin (now Lily) has made some remarkable progress since coming to us at the end of April. Lily loves food more than any dog we’ve ever known and keeping her figure slim and trim can be a real challenge- especially due to her adorable face which cries out for treats! She invites “awws!” and “oh my gosh”es from passersby on our daily walks. Most people who meet her can’t believe our little girl is 5 years old! Coming home to Lily is always a delightful experience as she’s taken to pawing at the door, wagging her tail and “barking” (as well as a devocalized dog can!) as soon as she catches a glimpse of us. She sits in the window and watches for us around 4pm every day and then runs to the door as soon as she sees us coming up the porch. We’re then subjected to a few minutes of “crazy pug” as she runs around, climbs all over us and kisses us. This playtime is cherished by both of us. She’s become a real cuddlepug, snuggling on top of us or next to us while we relax in the evenings. She has recently been allowing us access to her belly for rubs. We’re so proud of her and how far she’s come in only the last 6 weeks. She’s been a great addition to our family – thank you so much for bringing her into our lives!

June 14, 2013 – Pickle is going to her forever home in 2 weeks. She will be doing Agility and will share her life with a Border Collie who’s also doing Agility. A very active life is ahead of her and this is exactly what we wanted for this beautiful girl.
June 3, 2013 – Pickle is the kind of dog that if you treat her nice and fair, she will follow you, respect you and worship you. She is always looking at you for directions. She listens extremely well no matter it’s inside or outside. For example, she eliminates outside of our backyard (new sods). I just need to open the backyard door, she goes out, does her business and comes right back, no leash at all.
Here is a typical day for Pickle: Pickle gets up at 6:30, let out for morning release, has breakfast is around 7:00. At 8:00, she will jump into the car with me to drive my son to school. Sometimes, we will have a morning play in the neighborhood park or go to the dog park. At the park, she is not leashed because she needs to run and run and run, or fetch balls. The rest of the day, she will just wander around in the house. She will watch me and follow me everywhere because she didn’t want to miss any of the opportunity to go out with me. Dinner is around 5:00. She gets excited when meals are prepared but will sit and wait until allowed to eat. She eats very fast so I put a potato in the middle of the bowl to slow her down a little bit. After my dinner, she gets a little bit restless either begging with her eyes or baby sounded cries because it’s time to GO OUT. We will usually go to meet the neighborhood dogs. She not only made friends with the dogs but two ladies who spoil her with balls almost every evening. They throw balls and she will be the one gets the ball all the time, NO CHANCE FOR OTHER DOGS AT ALL. If she gets tired she will rest with the ball in her mouth. If we go for a walk, the ball is in her mouth no matter how long we walk, so I sometime have to hide the ball under my shirt to let her pant. We come home when it’s dark. Pickle will be lying right beside me on the couch, puts her head on my leg and goes to sound sleep. I will put her into her cage when I go to bed and she will sleep there sound and sweet until the sun rise up again. Pickle need that one family who will see the beauty of an athletic dog and who will be able to stimulate her, in return, she will be the most loyal companion. If you think you are that person, please submit your adoption application form.
June 1, 2013 – Pickle is still looking for her forever home. This place should be a place where she will get the exercise & stimulation she needs. Pickle will melt your heart with her long athletic legs, her soft coat and her beautiful eyes. If you are interested in adopting Pickle, please submit your adoption application form. Pickle would be fine with or without a canine companion.
May 9, 2013 – I want to take the opportunity to mention MY introduction to Pickle. As Foster Coordinator with UMWPR, I have on occasion had the pleasure to spend time with Pickle, both in transport and during our events. Pickle is one of the most gentle and sweet-tempered dogs that I have spent time with. I have also been lucky enough to witness and play with Pickle; since I had heard so much about her tenacity when it came to balls and playing fetch. There is no exaggeration, Pickle is absolutely fixated on fetch and it is her joy to chase and return any prize to you, always in the most tender fashion. Pickle is so docile in the car, patiently waiting to see where each adventure leads; she is marvelous company on any trip, no matter the length. The most fantastic part about Pickle’s accompaniment in the car is that she does not shed AT ALL and leaves no trace after leaving! To meet Pickle has been a delight and I recommend her as a companion for a very active family that will continue to exercise her to her immense capabilities. Pickle would excel in Agility. Please take the chance on this wonderful dog and help her become all she can be.
April 30, 2013 – Pickle has for sure made here her home and enjoying her life. We’ve been to the dog park couple of times and playing in the neighborhood parks at least twice a day. She has made a lot of friends in the park and become very famous. People are fascinated by how fast she can run and how much she loves fetching balls. She becomes a “ball monster” because if she sees balls she has to get it. She will invite herself into the games and once she is in, no dog will have a turn. The big dogs can only touch the ball when she drops it in front of the thrower. With the help of the EZ harness, the pulling problem is under control. Other than that she is strong and healthy and a joy to be around.
April 18, 2013 – Pickle has been doing really fine after her spaying surgery. It’s extremely hard for her not to run but if she is put in the crate, she is very quiet and calm and will stay there as long as it needed. We reduced the exercise for the week and only take evening walks on leash. With the training harness she is much better on leash. We had couple of pack walk with some of the neighborhood dogs and she behaved very well enjoyed the company. She is so much calmer when it’s time to go out and will wait at the door for directions. She will curl up beside me when it’s movie time at night and loves to sneak under my blanket, putts her head on my leg and sleep soundly for the evening. She really enjoys being pat and cuddled, will roll over for belly rub. She is such a sweet companion being it is a vigorous run outside or quiet cuddling inside. If somebody is looking for a agility champion, she is definitely a perfect choice.
April 12, 2013 – Pickle was at the vet today to get spayed. Surgery went very well and she weights 21.5lbs. She’s going back to her foster home tonite for a smooth recovery. She’s going to have to wear a cone and probably be crated until her stitches are removed as this little girl is very active.
April 9, 2013 – Pickle has been a real joy. She is the most energetic dog we’ve ever met. She can sprint for hours and not show a sign of being tired. She LOVEs fetching balls and she is as fast as a bolt. I have to bring two balls when we go for fetch. I’ll throw one to the back and Pickle will dash to it. Then I’ll throw the other one to the front, but still my boxer dog will have little chance to catch it because Pickle will fly to get it with the first ball in her mouth. Then she will take some time to decide which one to drop and bring one back to me. She will be such a joy with a family who loves outdoor activities, The greatest thing is that she will run and run but never run away. She is always circling back and forth. The other great thing about her is that she does not shed. She behaves very well in the house, always trying to engage you to play with her but if you ignore her, she will just take a toy to her crate and quietly play by herself. She is great in the car. She is being trained to be patient when leaving the house because as soon as she sees the leash she gets extremely excited. | see more of Jack Russell in her because she can jump to my shoulder for a ball. She is great with people as well as dogs. She eats her meal in 2 seconds, no chewing but just few licks the food is gone. Because of the increased activity leave, she lost some weight so we’ve increased her meal from to 1/2 cup per feeding. Pickle is getting spayed this Friday.
March 31, 2013 – Pickle is a perfect dog for someone who loves to play and outdoor activities. She is polite and patient, and quiet indoor. She can play with her toys (mainly balls for hours). She sleeps in the cage through the night, makes a soft cry when she needs to go out, loves belly rub and follows me around. In my store she is very quiet and good mannered when she meets my customers. When she goes outside, she is a different dog. She runs and runs, extremely happy, very well on calls, good mannered to meet other dogs in the dog park. She is learning to sit, and down and wait, especially when the door is open. She is smart and a quick learner. She is pulling hard on the leash but we are working on giving that little girls good manners.
March 25, 2013 – Pickle had a wonderful time visiting with everyone this past Saturday and showing her glorious underbite smile, thanks again to Pet Valu for the opportunity to allow everyone to meet her and raise awareness for the rescue. Pickle is a very active girl who would and will thrive in agility or activity that will canalize her high level of energy. Pickle can keep up with all dogs, big or small and LOVES to play fetch, usually wearing out her foster family. We are in the process of moving Pickle to a foster home that has experience with dog training and will help her become a very polite and well-behaved girl. Pickle has one week remaining on her medication and will soon be set for her spaying surgery. If you are looking for a jogging or hiking buddy or to do agility or rallye-o, Pickle is the dog for you. Stay tuned for more on Pickle, as she will soon be ready for adoption.
March 17, 2013 – Pickle is a very polite and sweet girl who like most, loves her belly rubs. Pickle is currently being treated for allergies with Vanectyl-P and we have switched her diet to a high quality grain-free formula. Once her cycle of allergy medicine is completed, we will be able to have her spayed and she will soon after be ready for adoption. Pickle is definitely a pug mix, in that she loves being outside – even in this colder season! Pickle was not presented with many rules in her previous life and is adapting well to a structured environment with constant encouragement. Pickle will do marvelously on a forever couch, with or without another dog – but she will prefer with a companion to play with. Continue to check for updates on Pickle as we learn more about her personality.
March 10, 2013 – Pickle is anything but sour; she is so happy when she meets people and dogs. She jumps up in the air beside them to show her excitement. She also does this little jump when she knows we are going for a walk, and really loves being outside. On leash, she really likes to pull but she seems to be catching on quickly to corrections. As for sit and other commands, they also will need some work. We took her to a fenced in area to run around, and once off leash she stuck to her foster parents like glue! Once she got comfortable she ran with dogs big and small – and boy can she run. She can also fetch and is really quick to give the ball back. She plays really well with the resident pugs, loves playing tug and is not dominant at all over toys. She has had one accident but will go outside at every opportunity so we are letting her out often. She loves being near her foster parents, either cuddling beside us or near our feet. This is one happy go lucky lass who will benefit from a family who can keep her active and loved.
March 9, 2013 – Pickle is a Pug X with Jack Russell who has come to us this evening as an owner surrender. Pickle is a good size at approximately 23 lbs. and is quite active. Pickle appears to know her basic commands and with patience and work, she will soon blossom into a polite lady. Pickle is fostered with two other dogs and we will soon learn more about her during her adjustment period. Pickle will soon visit the vet for her spaying surgery and will then be brought up to date in her vaccinations. Keep checking back here for updates, as Pickle’s new life begins.

We adopted Boo in March and adopting her was the best decision we could have made. She is such a loveable dog and is perfect for our busy family. Our girls (8 and 6.5) love to cuddle her and sometimes dress her up like a doll. Due to the fact that she came into UMWPR very overweight, we try and walk her twice a day and she has definitely built up her endurance. She now looks forward to walking the kids to school in the morning and is quite excited to come along rather than being dragged along 😉 She is on a special weight loss program with the vet and has lost 2 pounds since being with us which apparently is perfect weight loss for a small dog in that time frame.
Prior to adopting her, we were considering buying a dog through Kijiji and we are so glad we didn’t. There are so many wonderful rescue dogs available. We couldn’t ask for a better child companion.
I would absolutely encourage everyone to adopt a rescue – we’ve ended up with a true gem.

March 29, 2013 – Victor has been adopted by his fosdter family…he is sharing his life with a lab sister.
March 11, 2013 – Victor’s adoption didn’t work out. He came back today to Ottawa. Although 10 years old, Victor still had energy so it was a bit too much for the resident pug who was more laid-back and calm. Victor is now back at looking for his forever home. If you are interested in adopting Victor, please send us your adoption application form.
March 7, 2013 – Victor is going to his forever home on Sunday. He will be sharing his life with a male pug.
March 2, 2013 – We are lucky enough to have our own velvet covered pug to foster, Victor; who remains the easiest and most polite gentleman to care for. Victor recently visited the vet for a dental cleaning and lost 11 teeth – even his trademark narwhal tusk that stuck straight up in the middle of his bottom teeth! I must say that it is quite a pleasure to kiss his gorgeous face without the after-smell. Victor is still learning the English language but is incredibly smart and should be fully bilingual in no time. Victor gets along with all dogs, male or female and is a joy to have in the home; watching him run around when he gets hyper, all the while barking away, is the highlight of the day. If you are looking to add a hassle free pug to your home, this is your guy – the full package!
February 20, 2013 – Victor is getting his teeth cleaned next Thursday February 28.
February 18, 2013 – I could not ask for more of a gentleman to foster in my home; Victor is a prize. From his docile nature to his wonderful chocolate brown eyes, Victor will not disappoint. Victor came to us as an owner surrender and this guy will turn heads. Victor received a bath this evening and has a new shiny coat that you just cannot stop petting – like velvet! Victor has adjusted perfectly to his foster home and his housed happily with two male and one female pug. Victor is very submissive, willing to turn over his meal to any that hover, we have therefore started secluding him so that he has a chance to enjoy his full meal. Once Victor visits the vet this coming week and gets his teeth cleaned, I am sure that he will gobble up his food in record time. Please stay tuned to hear the results of Victor’s vet visit.
February 17, 2013 – Victor is an owner surrender, he is neutered and very well behaved. He gets along very well with other dogs and he came today to his first visit at Valley Stream Mano and was very kind with the residents. Victor will be going to the vet this week for a complete check up and will soon become available for adoption.
