July 13, 2015 – Kennia is a beautiful cuddly girl.  She loves his half brother Kenny and she gets along very well with everyone.  Kennia had a nice bath yesterday and she looks like a seal now.  Kennia will be visiting the vet this Wednesday for a complete check up and to be brought up to date in her vaccination and get microchipped.  Kennia is actually 28lbs and her healthy weight should be 20lbs.  Kennia’s teeth are in very good condition. for a pug.

July 11, 2015 – Kennia is an owner surrender.  She came in today with her half brother Kenny.  Kennia is 6 1/2 years old and very obese.  Kennia is very friendly and spayed.  She will be going to the vet in the coming week for a complete check up and to be brought up to date in her vaccination and get microchipped.

July 13, 2015 – Kenny is the sweetest teddy bear.  He’s good with everyone and with every dogs.  Kenny is going to the vet this Wednesday to be brought up to date in his vaccination and get microchipped.  Kenny had a nice bath yesterday and enjoyed running around the backyard to dry his coat……then back inside at the A/C.  Kenny is available for adoption.  He will need to go to a place where his new family will continue to work on reducing his weight.  He is currently 28lbs and his healthy weight is probably 20-21lbs.

July 11, 2015 – Kenny is an owner surrender.  He came in today with his sister Kenya.  Kenny is a very obese and will slowly start a diet and regular exercise.  Kenny is neutered and will be going to the vet in the coming week for a complete check up.

July 29, 2015 – Pudding is gone to her forever home tonite…(:

July 20, 2015 – Pudding has her teeth cleaned today and lost 6.  The rest were polished.  Pudding is going back to her foster home tonite and she is now ready to be adopted.  Pudding was at the Adoption Day this past weekend and met quite a few people very interested in her.  Pudding is definitely more attached to people than dogs.  She gets along well with them but doesn’t interact with them.  She would be the best cuddle dog for anyone who is looking for unconditional love from that pretty girl.

July 15, 2015 – Pudding has now been in her foster home for almost two weeks and she is doing so well. She loves going for her walks twice a day and is great on the leash. She’s very happy to stop and greet any two or four legged friends we meet. Pudding doesn’t really play with toys that much but will occasionally get a burst of energy and play fetch for a bit or chew on her stuffed animal. Pudding sleeps well in her crate a night. Pudding is going the vet this Wednesday for a full check up and will also be having her teeth cleaned on Monday.

July 13, 2015 – Pudding is doing very well.  She is being fostered with Kenny & Kennia and she is good with them.  Pudding seems to be more interested in people and she follows her foster mom everywhere in the house.  Pudding is going to the vet this Wednesday for a complete check up, to be brought up to date in her vaccination and to be microchipped.  An appointment has been taken to get her teeth cleaned next week as her teeth are pretty green……Pudding will soon be available for adoption.  She would probably do very well with or without another dog in her forever home.

July 6, 2015 – Pudding is just the sweetest girl. She loves going for her walks and goes at a good pace for her age. Pudding is super friendly to any people, dogs or cats she meets. She does seem a bit timid with men but warms up very quickly.  Pudding cries a bit when first put in a crate but settles down within minutes. She doesn’t seem overly interested in toys but when she’s in the mood, she loves to play fetch. Pudding arrived yesterday so we are just getting to know this beautiful girl and her personality. Pudding will be visiting the vet in the coming week for a complete check up and will probably need to have her teeth cleaned. Stay tuned for more info on that exquisite girl.

June 27, 2015 – Tommy went to the vet and got medication to clear an ear infection. He is 26lbs and could lose 5lbs to reach his healthy weight. Tommy will soon be available for adoption.

June 24, 2015 – Tommy is such a happy pug! He is friendly and protective of our house guests, cuddly with the resident pug. He sleeps soundly now at night. Plays happily with humans and walks and plays with other dogs at the park. It’s really precious to see such a transition in just two days. Tommy is going to the vet this afternoon for a complete check up.

June 22, 2015 – Tommy is going to the vet this Wednesday for a complete check up and to get microchipped. He’s gentle giant who get along very well with other dogs and cats. Tommy needs to lose a few lbs to reach a healthier weight. He had a good night sleep and lots of fun at the dog park last night.

June 21, 2015 – Tommy is a 6 year old active boy. He was surrendered by his owner. He is neutered and up to date in his vaccination. Tommy will be arriving to Ottawa (actually fostered in Montreal) in the coming week and will be visiting the vet for a complete check up and to be microchipped.

June 22, 2015 – PJ has been adopted by his foster family. He will live with a pug brother and a pug sister. Be happy young man !!

June 12, 2015 – PJ had his rabies vaccination yesterday and everything checked out fine. The vet chose not to do the lower jaw x-ray as he is eating fine. Housetraining is coming along at a rapid pace. PJ is also walking much better on a leash and will sit when asked (mostly). We are working on the come, sit and stay commands now. He can be an energizer bunny but once settled he is quite cuddly. He is sleeping in the big bed with no problems now. I took him to work with me today and he was a gem! Very well behaved and even signaled to go out for the bathroom. We had our young nephews over on the weekend (6 & 2) and he was great with them.
PJ is still possessive of toys and chew sticks and is slowly learning to share while under close supervision. He wants to be top dog but with enough work, he can settle into a house with other dogs but in the short time I’ve had him, he transforms into a dream pug when he is on his own. PJ will soon be available for adoption.
