The adoption of Bridgette has added so much love to my little home. She is an absolute pet (although I think that, at times, she believes that she is human) who loves to play and cuddle. She adores her Nylabones and her stuffed animals. I am so pleased that I was able to give her a forever home as she, as all older pugs and dogs in general, deserve to be in a place where they are loved unconditionally for the rest of their days. No matter what type of a day I’m having….as soon as I walk in the door, it’s all about Bridgette! We had a great time visiting with all of the other pugs at Pug Stock and she regularly gets to visit with my best friend’s pug, Taz. The two have become best friends! She loves her 2 walks per day and, although she is not a huge fan of the cold snow, we are making do. We bundle up in our winter gear (she’s got an incredible sheepskin coat which she loves) and trudge along so she can sniff at everything and she always stops when we meet another person coming along the walkway as she’s sure she will get a pat on the head. She loves to be loved and I love her with all of my heart! She is the absolute joy of my life.
