Age: 1.5 year old

June 22, 2015 – PJ has been adopted by his foster family. He will live with a pug brother and a pug sister. Be happy young man !!

June 12, 2015 – PJ had his rabies vaccination yesterday and everything checked out fine. The vet chose not to do the lower jaw x-ray as he is eating fine. Housetraining is coming along at a rapid pace. PJ is also walking much better on a leash and will sit when asked (mostly). We are working on the come, sit and stay commands now. He can be an energizer bunny but once settled he is quite cuddly. He is sleeping in the big bed with no problems now. I took him to work with me today and he was a gem! Very well behaved and even signaled to go out for the bathroom. We had our young nephews over on the weekend (6 & 2) and he was great with them.
PJ is still possessive of toys and chew sticks and is slowly learning to share while under close supervision. He wants to be top dog but with enough work, he can settle into a house with other dogs but in the short time I’ve had him, he transforms into a dream pug when he is on his own. PJ will soon be available for adoption.

Tesla

DeeDee

Age: 1 year old

June 24, 2015 – DeeDee is going to her forever home in Toronto this Saturday and she will be sharing her life with a pug brother adopted from UMWPR

Queenie

Age: 9 years old

June 22, 2015 – Queenie is going to her forever home today where she will sahre her life with a beautiful male pug. Happy life Queenie !!

Emmy

Age: 8 1/2 years old

Diva

Age: 8 years 9 months

May 2, 2015 – Diva is gone to her forever home where she will spend her days with a pug brother.

April 28, 2015 – Diva had her teeth cleaned today and she lost 3. Everything went very well and she’s back to her foster family for a nice recovery.

April 20, 2015 – Diva is fitting in well and had a really good first night. We had friends over for dinner and she just wanted to play with everyone. I think she’d be really good with kids. We went on a long walk up and down Bank street and she behaved really well on the leash, not pulling, just strolling happily along. She was well behaved and very submissive when she met other dogs and people at the pet store. Diva and the resident pug slept side by side in our room, which I think must have been comforting for a little dog in a strange place. The day after, we took Diva to the dog park at 10 to take pictures and see how she interacted with other dogs. In true pug fashion, she was less interested in her fellow canines and more interested in affection from their owners! She was so friendly and pranced around cheerfully. I tried to teach her how to fetch, and she liked being goaded into chasing a ball, but then sort of abandoned it. Perseverence! Lastly, I gave little Diva a bath this morning. I wasn’t sure how it would go, but it went great. She stayed so calm and I let her sniff the water and the shampoo and let her gently feel the warm water on her shoulder. I made sure I didn’t wet her face. she was great! I think she really enjoyed it. It was fun towelling her off after because she’s so playful. Diva is getting microchipped and is getting her nails trimmed tomorrow. She will also have her teeth checked to assess if they need to be cleaned or not.

April 18, 2015 – Diva came in today. She was surrendered by her owner. Diva is born on July 14, 2006 so she will be 9 this summer. Diva is a very good little girl, she is about 16lbs and full of beans. She gets along very well with other dogs and loves to run in the backyard. Diva is spayed and up to date in her vaccination, she will be visiting the vet this week for a complete check up and to be microchipped.
