September 3, 2018 – Frank is gone to his forever home yesterday. He will be living in a senior residence with his adoptive dad and will get plenty of walks and naps….(:
August 21, 2018 – Frank is a very easy going pug. He gets along very well with the resident pug. A lot if times you will see the two of them lying beside each other. Frank gets along with people very well. He has a cute personality that you get to know more each day. Frank loves to sit outside and take in the fresh air. There has been no accidents in the house.
August 10, 2018 – Frank went to the vet yesterday to get his rabies shot. The vet said that Frank has a strong heart and clear lungs and an x-ray was taken to make sure everything looked good, which it did. Frank had geriatric blood work done and his white blood cells are a tiny bit elevated, for that reason, he will be put on antibiotics for 10 days. An ideal home for Frank would be one where he can live out the remainder of his time in a quiet home where he can enjoy a slow pace and lots of snuggles. He’s the best snuggler and has the nicest temperament; everyone that meets him comments on how sweet he is. He is a joy to have in our home. Meet Frank at Rens Pets Depot on Strandherd Drive on Saturday August 11 from 11AM to 3PM.
July 30, 2018 – Frank is a sweet old man. He loves to go for walks & sleep. He gets along well with other dogs.
July 24, 2018 – Frank was neutered today and had his teeth cleaned. He lost 6 and still has 32 left in his mouth. Frank will be going back to his foster family at the end of the day today for a smooth recovery.
July 23, 2018 – Frank is a joy to foster. He’s so adaptable and easy going. He’s such a cuddle bug and loves to be near his people. He has full run of the house and has not had a single accident since being with us. He’s quiet and calm; patiently sitting while he waits for his food which he loves. He is a low maintenance boy who is just happy all the time. He’s not a fan of walks longer than 10 minutes but we’re working on it. Frank sleeps in his dog bed which is beside our bed. He loves it when the comforter falls off our bed at night and he can be found curled up in it in the morning. Frank has no mobility issues and can easily run up our wood staircase with ease. He’s in amazing shape for his age and is still eager to learn and please
July 16, 3018 – Frank’s visit on Friday went pretty well–he’s 18 lbs. Most looks good, including his hind legs and arched spine–no pain. He has been put on Clavamox for 10 days to treat bacterias in his urine. Frank was coughing a lot when he came to us; while it may be kennel cough, the vet is not convinced it is. He thinks it may be an elongated soft palate issue. He usually has the coughing fit when he’s just finished eating as well as when he’s excited. The vet suggested we wait until the round of antibiotics are finished and see if there’s any change with the coughing, reverse sneezing and then we can go from there as far as looking into the soft palate as the problem. He said that he can look into that further during the dental. Other than that, Frank is a pretty healthy boy. His stool sample is good and the results of the blood work will be forwarded to you.
July 13, 2018 – Frank is doing well and settled in quickly with his new environment. Frank really enjoys short walks with the resident lab and keeps up just fine. He also enjoys the quiet environment and having his foster mom home during the day. He’s soaking up the TLC and snuggles! Frank loves car rides, hanging out by the pool with his foster mom and meeting new people. He seems to be indifferent with dogs; he’s perfectly fine with them around him but not really interested in greeting/playing. This sweet old boy has a wonderful, easygoing temperament. As he is not currently neutered, he does not have run of the house. He’s watched very closely, given lots of trips outside to do his business and is in a kennel when we are away and during the night.
July 11, 2018 – On this beautiful summer day, Frank came into rescue. If the definition of kindness had a name, it would be Frank. This older boy is only love, cuddles, happy face & waggy tail. Frank was surrendered at the SPCA with only 2 infos, age & name. Frank is 13 years old and he is not neutered, he seems to have a bad mouth too based on the foul smell. This absolutely exquisite older guy is so sweet and happy to meet new people. Frank is going to the vet this Friday for a complete check up and blood work in preparation of his dental procedure and later on, his neutering surgery.
