Winston has been with us for 3 weeks already. He is an incredibly loving and social big boy, full of love snuggles and kisses. He loves to play with his ball and his stuffies unfortunately he is still learning that Baby (the blind pug ) is not one of them. He likes to nibble her legs which makes her quite nervous. We changed his diet to Acana Pacifica and also purchased a “Portion Pacer” (a ceramic ball which stays in his bowl and makes it impossible for him to gobble up his food in 2 seconds or less like he used to), a well worth it gadget for a dog like Winston. His food is now staying down and he has put on a little weight and is looking absolutely handsome!

He loves the park or any walk for that matter. Today he walked to the pet shop to get himself a Deer Antler bone which he carried home in his coat pocket. I’m starting to think we may need to give him an allowance for his shopping trips to the pet shop which he absolutely loves. He has incredible energy but will fall asleep in a blink and start snoring within seconds. He walks beautifully on a leash, and can be a gentleman and will sit for his food. He has had a few accidents in the house but at least seems to know he has done something wrong. Hopefully by Spring when the weather is good he will choose the outdoors. Winston is a really a special pug, a real love bug, fun loving and entertaining. We are so happy to have him as part of our family.
