April 27, 2019 – Stormi is gone to her forever home today…in the GTA area.

April 16, 2019 – Stormi is such a great pup! She is doing so well each and every day. She is a very energetic little girl who loves to play outside and run around. She likes to run circles around the resident pugs. She is very good when you tell her no as she’ll listen right away. She has a lot of energy but also loves to just sit and cuddle with you. She’s always curious to see what you are doing so she doesn’t go very far from you. She is a very sweet girl. She loves going on walks as well. She is a bit eager so she does pull. She loves to hang around with Humphrey and Leon. She likes to follow them all over the house. She is great in the car as well. After the rain storm we had last night, I was interested to see how she would react. The thunder didn’t bother her at all. She just kept sleeping.

April 8, 2019 – Stormi is doing great! She loves the warmer weather but isn’t a fan of all the mud. She’s very active and loves to run around. She is great in her crate and has no issues sleeping the whole night. She gets along great with our pug mixes and always wonders what they’re doing. Her recall is getting much better and she’s getting less nervous around larger dogs. She is still nervous around them but not aggressive anymore. She loves to play with her stuffies and when you play tug of war with her. She also loves chasing the ball around the yard.

April 1, 2019 – Stormi is a very active and playful 19lbs girl She is full of energy and loves attention. She likes to be front and centre with you all the time. At first, she is very timid and nervous but it doesn’t take long for her to warm up to you. She normally barks a lot when she hears a noise or when anyone comes in the door. She’s a protector! She loves when you throw a ball for her to go fetch. She also loves playing tug of war with a stuffed animal. She’s very quick to pick up on what you tell her to do and listens most of the time. She does get into things she isn’t supposed to sometimes if she isn’t getting enough play time or attention. She is crate trained when she goes to bed and will go in without being told. We have her crate in our bedroom and when we go upstairs at night to go to bed, she walks upstairs and goes right into her crate without being told. Sometimes we’ll leave the door open and she’ll just sleep in there. She is a very sweet girl. She loves to kiss and cuddle. If you are laying with her, all she wants to do is kiss you! After a while, she’ll stop and lay down for a little while with you until she’s ready to play again. She loves to eat as well! She used to be picky with her food when she first came to us but now she will her food with no fuss. She’s not picky. When you give her a treat, she doesn’t normally take it from your hand, she likes when you put it on the floor so she can figure out what it is first. She isn’t fond of the cold weather and won’t last too long outside for walks but when the weather is mild, she will walk for longer. She loves to go on walks and smell everything. She does not like the vacuum cleaner at all. She gets very scared when you turn it on and will run away and hide. She also doesn’t do very well with larger dog breeds. We introduced her to a very docile husky and a very active golden retriever. The first time she met them, she was growling and barking and you couldn’t let her go anywhere near them or she would bite them. She was more aggressive with the playful golden than the husky. We’ve introduced them to her a few times now and, she gets better every time. She is still very nervous around them and will let them know when they are getting too close. She isn’t as aggressive with them anymore and is slowly getting used to them. Stormi wouldn’t do well at a dog park with larger dogs. She is very good on leash and will stop to smell everything around her on the mild days. On the colder days, she will go to do her business and then she is ready to go back inside.  Stormi will do well with an active family. She loves to run around and play with her toys. She loves it even more when you play with her. She is very active and needs that extra attention sometimes. She is also very good with smaller dogs. She is great with the 2 resident puggle. She does get a bit jealous and will try to push through them if she sees they are getting more attention but she is very sweet with them. They love to all snuggle on the couch together. I am not sure how she is around children but we have introduced her to many people and she’s never had any issues with them. She gets very scared in the beginning but warms up very quickly. She is a very sweet and kind girl who will definitely bring a lot of love and joy to the lucky family. She will definitely be missed around our house.

March 29, 2019 – Stormi had her teeth cleaned on Friday and didn’t lose any.  She already was missing 6 and the rest were cleaned and polished.  She has a brand new smile now.  Stormi will soon be available for adoption.

March 25, 2019 – Stormi is a very happy little girl with tons of energy. She loves playing tug of war and chasing after her ball. We tried another play date with the same big dog (golden retriever) and she seems to be more comfortable with her now. She wasn’t aggressive this time but she kept a bit of distance. Stormi is also loving that the weather is getting nicer as she enjoys running around the yard. She is going for dental work on Friday March 29.

March 13, 2019 – Stormi is doing very well. She gets more and more comfortable everyday. She has made herself quite at home now 🙂 she loves following our 2 dogs around and is always very curious as to what they are doing. Her favourite time of the day is meal time! She’s not a fan of the cold weather so she’s happy it’s starting to get a bit warmer outside! She’s also a huge cuddle bug!

March 4, 2019 – Stormi is doing great! She has healed very well after her surgery and is completely back to normal. She loves running around with our dogs and is always curious to see what they are doing. She is a big snuggler and loves attention. We have her completely crate trained now. We have her bed in her crate in our bedroom and when it’s time for bed she walks right in to the crate and goes to bed.

February 27, 2019 – Stormi is healing well from his spaying surgery and her appetite has come back.  Stormi does not get along with big dog breeds. She had a playdate this week with bigger dogs and she didn’t want to go anywhere near them. Stormi is a very energetic dog and loves to play with her toys. Her favourite game is tug of war! Stormi is getting her teeth cleaned on March 29.

February 18, 2019 -Stormi is doing great, she is a very independent little girl. Her foster brothers are taking to her well. They’re always following each other around and curious what everyone is doing. We tried crate training her and she wasn’t very pleased. We decided to take a break from crate training and tried to get her to sleep in her bed and she prefers that much more. She’ll sleep in her bed the entire night! She also loves to play tug of war with her toys. Stormi will be going to the vet on Thursday to get spayed.

February 15, 2019 – Stormi is doing really well!! She gets along great with the resident pugs. She’s becoming more and more comfortable and is a very happy pup! She is super playful and has a lot of energy! She likes to nip when she plays so we are trying to work on that so she doesn’t use her teeth. We put her in the crate to sleep last night and she wasn’t too excited about it for the first 20 minutes but after that went right to sleep until we woke up at 6am this morning.  Stormi is getting spayed on February 21, 2019 and she will need to have her teeth cleaned a month after her spaying surgery.

February 14, 2019 – Stormi went to the vet today for a complete check up.  She was brought up to date in her vaccination and had her nails trimmed.  Stormi is 17lbs and could lose 1-2lbs.  Stormi is getting spayed on February 21 and she will need to get her teeth cleaned about 1 month after her spaying surgery.

February 13, 2019 – Stormi came in today in the middle of a snow storm.  She is about 4 years old and she is a pug X.  She was surrendered by her owner who didn’t want her anymore.  Stormi is going to the vet tomorrow for a complete check up.  Stay tuned for more on Stormi as we get to know her.
