November 18, 2018 – Shoo Shoo is gone to her forever home today, she will share her life with a sweet Japanese chin.

November 7, 2018Shoo Shoo is fantastic.  Last night she was back to playing with toys. Shoo Shoo is recovering very well from her dental procedure.

November 3, 2018 – Shoo Shoo had her teeth cleaned on November 2 and she lost 4.  She already had many missing so total left in her beautiful mouth is 17.  Shoo Shoo is now available for adoption.  This sweet cuddly girl would do well with or without another dog.  She enjoys going for walks and cuddling.

October 17, 2018 – I didn’t think Shoo Shoo could be any more endearing but last Friday as I was preparing dinner this sweet little couch potato suddenly jumped off of the sofa and attacked a stuffed toy on the floor.  She shook the toy and jumped into the nearest dog bed where she shook the toy and then tossed it into the air.  She then jumped into another dog bed.  She looked so incredibly happy.  She played tug with me, chased the toy in circles as I dragged it across the floor and even fetched the stuffie when I tossed it across the room.  I was shocked and delighted.  During the four weeks she has been with me Shoo Shoo had shown absolutely no interest in toys no matter how I had tried to entice her.  This darling girl now loves her stuffies and has at least two play sessions a day sometimes playing with her humans or sometimes preferring to play all by herself.

October 8, 2018 – Shoo Shoo is such a sweet little girl. She was spayed October 1 and the only problem with her recovery has been convincing her that she needs to recover. She was delighted at the end of the week when I started taking her out for a short walk. Shoo Shoo loves going for walks, barking and dancing when she sees her harness. She walks well on the leash and at a fairly quick pace although she does like to make frequent stops to sniff and pee. She enjoys meeting people on our walks and looks disappointed when people don’t stop to say hi. Shoo Shoo doesn’t play with toys or the resident pugs. As a matter of fact in the house she is pretty much a couch potato so going for a walk is the highlight of her day. This sweet little girl has been the perfect house guest. She is completely housebroken and has had full run of the house pretty much since day one. She is also crate trained. At bedtime she runs straight into one of the crates, (although not always her own) waiting for her bedtime treat. She adapted to her new routine here very quickly. She does have some separation anxiety and will howl for a short period of time after I leave and is very excited when I return. Although she doesn’t play with the resident pugs she does enjoy their company and she finds comfort with them sharing a dog bed with one or the other when left alone. Shoo Shoo does enjoy watching TV and will bark and whimper at the screen. She is also obsessed with the laser pointer. Although she hasn’t chased the squirrels in the backyard she does go on alert when one crosses our path on our walks. Today she did chase a rabbit around the yard. The only cat she has had any contact with was at the vet’s and she ignored it. Shoo Shoo loves to go in the car but she will bounce around with excitement so I make sure she is clipped in.
Shoo Shoo was extremely itchy when she first arrived. She was given numerous medicated baths and given Reactine the first couple of weeks and she is now much more comfortable. I haven’t given her any Reactine the last few days and so far the extreme itching has not returned. Shoo Shoo is a darling girl who is looking for a forever family that will give her plenty of belly rubs and walks.
Shoo Shoo is getting her teeth cleaned on November 2.  Come and meet this beautiful girl at the Howl.O.Ween Pawty at the Ron Kolbus Lakeside Centre on October 28 from 12 to 3:30pm.

September 14, 2018 – Shoo Shoo was abandoned at the SPCA.  She is a 10 year old intact female pug.  Stay tuned for more info on this precious beauty.
