Adoption Status: Successful Adoption
August 27, 2013 – Oscar has been adopted by his foster mom. He’s living a good life in the country with a female pug and a female bug.
August 25, 2013 – Oscar is a little sweetie. Since being neutered recently, he has had to be kept relatively inactive, which is just not his nature. He is very anxious to play with his foster sister. Oscar is crate trained and goes into “bed” willingly. He loves his toys, especially the squeaky skunk! Oscar doesn’t seem to be used to sitting on someone’s lap and it takes some scratching of ears and neck to get him to relax. We have had a couple of “accidents” and I think it is more a case of not being fully housetrained then marking and we’re working on that, as well as on basic commands. We have taken a few short walks around the block with my two dogs and he walks very well on a leash, just a slight pulling once in a while, but he will be easy to train. He interacts well with my dogs and he is not aggressive in any way. He is a very quiet little guy and loves to follow me around. Oscar should make anyone a wonderful pet. August 23, 2013 – Oscar came in this afternoon. He was used to spend 12 hours a day in a crate. Due to the lack of time, his owner surrendered him.
Oscar is about 22lbs and he’s a very active boy.
He’s just been neutered and he’s vaccinated and microchipped. Oscar will get his stitches removed on September 4.
Oscar has beautiful light brown eyes. If you are looking for an active boy, please consider adopting Oscar.
