We only needed a short visit with Bicknell aka Benny to know that he was a great fit for our home and our little Pug Lola. He passed the Lola interview with flying colours. He’s adapting very well – a really cool cucumber who’s happy to sit in a comfy spot and watch what’s going on. He’s always friendly with new people and is quite relaxed, but loves a good game of tug-of-war. At the beginning we had to initiate affection and cuddles, although he’s always been receptive and would often take advantage of the closeness to give alittle slurp on the face. Now he’s turning into a cuddle pug. Instead of hanging out on the other end of the couch he’s progressed to being a lap dog, and will stretch full out for a nap or massage. He loves the routine of sleeping in the bed! At first he stayed down near the foot, but as he got more comfortable, he started working his way up. Once in the middle of the night I woke up to find Benny’s head resting beside me on the pillow! He’ll be a complete suck in no time. Lola loves the company and he is very pleased at having his own sister to smooch and sniff at. They are working on tug-of-war between themselves, and will get the hang of it before long. After three weeks his personality is still coming out, but we are already very much in love with the little handsome dude.
