October 22, 2018 – Basil lost 18 teeth during his dental cleaning, but sailed through his recovery. He has been doing great. With the cooler weather he has been sneaking a few bowel movements in the house (usually in our laundry room), so we are working on re-establishing a routine to help him go outside. He always goes pee outside though. He also broke into the garden and ate a whole tomato recently. He enjoyed it at first, but felt a bit sick afterwards. He loves going for strolls in the neighbourhood and hanging out in the yard where he can enjoy the fall weather. After exploring outside, he loves cuddling on the couch while we watch The Voice 🙂
October 13, 2018 – Basil has really settled into our routine here and is a sweet, older guy with just a few little pug quirks. Since starting treatment for his allergies and being on a raw food, he has been doing really well. He is no longer red & itchy, and his coat is so soft. He loves to cuddle on the couch and tuck himself away in his crate at night. He is house trained, but doesn’t like going pee in the rain. You can’t leave any food out even for a second – he is agile enough to climb up for a taste! He will always happily greet you when you come home and will then gently remind you it might be dinnertime 🙂 All in all he is your typical loving pug
October 12, 2018 – Basil had his teeth cleaned and lost 18.
September 3, 2018 – Basil came in this morning. He is born on July 31, 2009 so he just turned 9. Basil is very good with other dogs but he prefers people. Basil is neutered and microchipped. He will be going to the vet in the coming week for a complete check up and to have his dental procedure scheduled. Basil came him with his half brother, Oscar.
